Mama Margin uses Supabase for email/password authentication and database storage. When you create an account, your email address and optional display name are processed to manage it. Supabase handles password authentication; the app does not store your password in the budget database.
Income, bills, expense categories, payment checklists, and family events you enter are sent to Supabase over HTTPS and saved under your account. Database access rules restrict ordinary app users to their own records. The app operator and service providers may have administrative access as needed to operate, support, and secure the service. Do not enter bank passwords, card numbers, or Social Security numbers.
The browser stores authentication session information in session storage for this tab. Budget entries are held in memory while the app is open rather than deliberately saved as an offline budget copy. Sign out when using a shared device. Browser session restoration and device backups may preserve session information. Cached public app files do not include your cloud budget.
The previous version stored budget entries in local browser storage. The new app does not automatically assign those entries to any account. You may explicitly import your previous entries after signing in; the earlier browser copy is removed only after a successful cloud save. You can delete that copy separately.
Hosting, authentication, database, and network providers process technical connection information such as IP addresses, request logs, and browser information to deliver and secure the app. Confirmation and password-reset emails, when email delivery is configured, are processed by Supabase and the configured email provider. We do not include advertising or app analytics SDKs in this version.
Export creates a JSON file containing your entries. Keep it private. Restore reads a file you select and, with your confirmation, replaces your signed-in budget. Calendar export creates a file with event details. Importing or sharing it makes those details available to the calendar service or recipient you choose.
Your cloud entries remain while you use your account unless you clear them in My settings → Clear my saved budget. This clears budget records; it does not close your account. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email Lwallace30@gmail.com from the account’s email address. We may verify account ownership before processing a request. Technical logs and backup copies may remain according to provider retention and any applicable requirements. Delete downloaded exports and calendar copies separately. Clearing browser storage or uninstalling a home screen shortcut does not delete cloud records.
This is a household planning tool for adults. It does not connect to banks, move money, or send automatic bill notifications. Internet access is required for sign-in and saved budgets. The service is in initial testing; keep separate backups of information you need.

Support emails and your address are processed by the email service to respond. Avoid including financial records or family schedules. Correspondence is retained as needed to address requests and ongoing issues; you may request deletion, subject to required retention. We will update this policy when data practices change.
